Green Thumb Society Honors Members
The St. John’s Home Green Thumb Society gathered on October 14 to honor and remember members of the Green Thumb Society who have passed away in the last year. Memorial plant plaques were placed in the St. John’s Trinity Garden, which the Green Thumb Society tends to, in loving memory of those members. Families of those being remembered joined the group to share fond memories and cake. Even though the day was cold, many ventured out into the garden to view the beautiful memorial plaques.
The St. John’s Home Green Thumb Society is a group of elders that meets monthly to pursue their passion of gardening. Members participate in various activities, including indoor and outdoor gardening. Many members share their love of gardening with others by delivering their plants as gifts.
