Assistant Director of Nursing Completes Leadership Academy

St. John’s Home Assistant Director of Nursing Yolanda Harvard recently joined the ranks of LeadingAge New York’s prestigious Ignite Leadership Academy. Harvard was presented with her certificate during the LeadingAge New York annual conference and exposition in Saratoga Springs on May 21.

“The Leadership Academy was a life changing experience that impacted both my personal and professional being,” says Harvard.  “I had the opportunity to connect with many great leaders within the state that shared their personal experiences and gave guidance for continued success. Every session was fun, powerful, and engaging. I felt as if the topics were speaking directly to my current situations and I left each session feeling invigorated and rejuvenated in my work.”

“The Academy has given me a deeper appreciation for those that I work with and those that I serve,” added Harvard, a Registered Nurse. “I am grateful to St. John’s and LeadingAge for this incredible opportunity.”

According to LeadingAge New York, the Ignite leadership platform “is designed to foster growth and relationships among our current and next generations of leaders within New York’s non-profit providers of care, housing, and service to seniors.”
