In the Holiday Spirit
Food, food, glorious food! That’s what this past weekend was all about—as well as respect and recognition of the religious and cultural aspects of the season!
On Friday night, the dining room staff served a complete Passover Seder meal to 56 residents in the beautifully decorated Chestnut Court Parks room. The food was excellent and the service superb with the wait staff attired in formal tux shirts and black ties, while David Orange conducted the Exodus reenactment with the traditional rituals and songs. It was all very well done and was greatly appreciated by residents and guests alike.
Then on Sunday, a fabulous Easter brunch was served in Briarwood with an overflow crowd of 180. The colorful décor reflected the springtime/Easter theme while a delicious menu offered specialties like baked ham, rack of lamb, and eggs benedict—all beautifully served by our formally dressed wait staff. Piano music in the background added to the elegance of the meal.
Congratulations to the whole Meadows staff for making life here so inclusive and enjoyable.
