St. John’s Enhanced Assisted Living Service featured in the RBJ

With an aging population in Rochester, choices for seniors continue to grow. For those who need varying levels of clinical care, Rochester remains a highly competitive area when it comes to living options. In the past, seniors would need to leave their homes to receive medical or clinical care, however, that is no longer the case. “What we’ve found is it’s far more convenient for them and less disruptive to their lives if we bring those services here,” Vice President of Senior Housing, Paul Bartlett said to the Rochester Business Journal.

At St. John’s Meadows, residents in enhanced assisted living at The Hawthorne (pictured above) are able to receive clinical care 24 hours per day, seven days per week from licensed practical nurses and care partners. Enhanced assisted living is a special licensure the state Department of Health gives that allows facilities to provide clinical care.
