Residents Revel in Fall Foliage Trip on the Genesee River

St. John’s Meadows’ residents recently took a two-hour trip along the Genesee River. Aboard the paddlewheel Harbor Town Belle, the group took in the beautiful colors of fall.  Reva Sipser, a St. John’s Meadows resident, described the trip and took breathtaking photos:

“We enjoyed leaf peeping at its best along the shore, had a buffet lunch, good fellowship, and scenery that I had never been aware of.  As we cruised the river from Charlotte to the Veteran’s Memorial Bridge and back to Lake Ontario where we were able to view hiking and biking trails, a hidden park, a historic lighthouse, and beautiful fall foliage.  It was truly an enjoyable memorable trip.”

Our residents are fortunate to live in Rochester, New York— a city that has a wide array of scenery to offer. Scenic and historically relevent trips are just part of the activities offered at St. John’s Meadows. Our full calendars drive meaningful and engaging activities for residents. With the holidays around the corner, we look forward to Christmas light trips, Veterans Day celebrations, Thanksgiving- themed Seasonal Flavors with MVP Health Care, and many celebratory parties.
