Brickstone Virtual Cocktail Hour: The First of Many
On Thursday, January 14, Brickstone by St. John’s hosted their very first virtual happy hour!
In the constant search for new safe activities to bring our communities together, this one was a major hit. The happy hour was led by St. John’s Community Life Specialists Meghan Little and Terry Neilon. Residents were given care packages of ingredients ahead of time and were walked through the step-by-step process of making a refreshing Blueberry Gin Fizz cocktail, even making the blueberry simple syrup from scratch! Meghan shared insight on other flavorful simple syrups she has made in the past, giving residents the opportunity to put their own twist on the beverage in the future. It seems clear the Brickstone Virtual Cocktail Hour will be a new staple in the community. Try the recipe out for yourself and let us know what you think!
