McKnight’s Long-Term Care News covered the exciting news of the appointment of St. John’s Vice President of Skilled Services Dan Morphet, which happened at the beginning of this month.

Dan Morphet

Morphet brings his 33-year long-term care experience to St. John’s Home as he takes on the role of overseeing St. John’s skilled care services both offered at St. John’s Home (150 Highland Avenue) and at the St. John’s Penfield Green House Homes. He will also lead rehabilitation services, memory care, and the development of other services that are part of St. John’s non-medical long-term care model.

Morphet, who has a Bachelor of Science in business administration and healthcare administration from Alfred University, onboards at an integral time for St. John’s following the announcement of the partnership with the University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC). This partnership, which Morphet will oversee, is part of the ongoing efforts to meet the growing needs of the older adult community in Rochester.

“Under Dan’s leadership, St. John’s will continue to advance its mission and evolve our services to provide the highest quality of care for our residents and their families,” St. John’s President and CEO Charlie Runyon said.
